INDOOR BOWLS GUIDANCE

BROMLEY IBC EXTRA NEWSLETTER

JULY 2021

‘EIBA INDOOR BOWLS GUIDANCE’

‘’Road map out of COVID-19 Restrictions

Update 15th July 2021’’

Dear All

The Government has announced that Step 4 of their road map out of Covid-19

restrictions will commence on Monday 19 th July 2021.

In response, EIBA has now advised Indoor Bowls Clubs by letter, of how this could

affect them.

While many restrictions have been removed by the government, referred to in it’s

letter, never-the-less, EIBA has said:-

“However, with many Clubs already operating limited schedules and or have

summer leagues operating under Step 3 restrictions the EIBA believe

consideration for these to continue as is until the end of the summer

arrangements would be prudent.”

While we hold only limited activities to meet present demand, taking note of the

opinion of some members, and mindful that the protection of our members and the

most vulnerable is paramount, it is considered that Bromley Indoor Bowling Club

should continue to operate making no changes to the requirements that are set out

in the last EIBA Guidance Issue 7, 13 May 2021 and which were in recent

newsletters as follows:-

Groups of up to 6 people or 2 households

You are reminded that the fresh air system is fully operational for extra safety

· Mask on before entering the Centre

· Use the hand sanitiser on the wall by the door

· Take your temperature – and if red – no admission

· Maintain social distancing and follow all notices

Also

· You may use your lockers and toilet facilities

· All rinks available for use

and

· Diane, Keith and Joanne will be pleased to make a drink for a small fee.

Most welcome and they are doing a grand job.
